Boston 25 News

Local news for Boston and Massachusetts

Boston 25 News is a local news app for people who want reporting, weather, traffic, sports and live video focused on the Boston area. It suits Massachusetts residents, commuters and anyone following regional events rather than relying only on national coverage. The app is published by Cox Media Group Inc. and is listed in the News & Magazines category.

What the app covers

News reports can be organised around local communities and counties across Massachusetts, helping users find stories closer to home. The app also brings together coverage of Boston-area professional teams, including the Celtics, Red Sox, Bruins, Patriots and Revolution.

• Local and breaking news reports
• Weather information with radar and forecasts
• Traffic and drive-time updates for the Boston area
• Live and on-demand video from Boston 25
• Regional sports coverage

Useful for daily checks

Weather radar and forecasts make the app relevant when planning a commute or checking changing conditions. Traffic information adds a practical reason to open it during the day, while live and recorded video gives users another way to follow major stories. Its county-level coverage is more useful for local readers than a general news feed with little Massachusetts detail.
